Taal coffee

Taal Volcano is an active, beautiful creation in Batangas, Philippines, a city once known to be the coffee capital of the country. Kapeng Bartok is a varietal coffee bean grown and harvested exclusively near the Taal Volcano. I was fortunate enough to visit this area and indulge in their exclusive coffee in 2019, which is what inspired me to create this brand.

Interesting note: Taal Volcano erupted on January 12, 2020 after 45 years, wrecking havoc around its surrounding villages, and spreading ashes all over Manila. I created this brand just a week before the eruption occurred.
