Death and Taxes

The great David Carson once critiqued my student portfolio, and pointed out this digital illustration as his favorite piece. I was thrilled and ecstatic. Then he pointed at the piece again, and said "but I wouldn't hire this guy," He then pointed to another piece in the portfolio,  and then said "But I'd hire THIS guy." Oh well,  you can't win them all.
