Travel Book Layout

I traveled to Japan during summer in 2016. I'm both an avid traveler and born otaku, so I rank Tokyo as my all-time favorite travel destination - for now. Its history, its animation, its food - I could go on. Not to mention the people - the most polite group of human beings to ever walk this earth.

I created and had this book printed as a reminder of my travels in Japan, highlighting not so much the famous attractions of Tokyo, but its nooks & crannies, insignificant & overlooked details, and its overall grit.

Magazine Layout

Sigur Ros is a band hailing from Reykjavik, Iceland, now having a presence in pop culture. Their music has had a profound influence in things I create. This project served as a passion project, putting myself in a fictitious role of a fanboy editor nervously interviewing one of his favorite bands in the world.

Small Booklet Layout

This booklet elaborated on the significant impact of the great San Francisco earthquake of 1906. The pages were spiral-bound and distributed as free booklet handouts at a downtown San Francisco museum.
