Mixed Media

I’ll just call this section my fun zone. I’ve dabbled into various mediums: from lasercutting and book arts, all the way to woodblock printing and short motion clips. These types of projects are needed to fuel my creativity, and expand my knowledge on various, often non-digital mediums.

Next up, learning Blender so I can whip up some nifty 3d models!

Wood Block Prints

I explored the theme of normalcy within Los Angeles by transforming my photography into digital art. Each piece was then printed on 12x12 wooden blocks. The set was eventually featured at the Pomona Art Walk Gallery for a few weeks.

Lasercut Restaurant Menu

This project enable me the basics of lasercut machinery. I was able to craft a custom menu for one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Walnut, California, called Ami Sushi.

Books Arts - Accordion Style

This hand-crafted book details the harsh realities of daily lives of children living in third and first-world countries. I crafted a total of six of these books, each unique in their own subtleties.

826LA - Enamel Pins

As part of a seasonal branding suite for the 626LA non-profit organization in Los Angeles, I designed a limited edition run of 500 limited edition pins. These pins were handed out as deliverables at their various learning events for children.
